These terms apply when you use Offline Audio Transcriber, published by Snoochie Soft, Bydgoszcz, Poland. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.
Using the app
You may use the app for your own recordings and files. You are responsible for having the right to record and transcribe the audio you use, including the consent of people you record where the law requires it.
Accuracy
Speech recognition makes mistakes. Accuracy depends on audio quality, accents and background noise, and it is not guaranteed. Check important transcripts before you rely on them, especially for legal, medical or financial matters. You use the app at your own risk.
Free minutes and ads
Today the first 2 minutes of every recording are free and a short ad adds 3 minutes. These amounts may change in future versions of the app.
Purchases and refunds
- Purchases are made through Google Play. Payments, refunds and cancellations are handled by Google Play under its policies.
- Minute packs never expire.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play.
- A one-time Pro purchase is not a subscription and does not renew.
Third-party models and software
The app includes open-source software and speech models under their own licenses, listed on the licenses page.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for losses resulting from using the app or from errors in transcripts. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
