Mossy: Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what the mobile app Mossy ("the App") does with your information. Mossy is a collection of short games for Android, published by Snoochie Soft.

The short version: we do not collect your data. The App has no account, no ads, no analytics and no server of ours. Your progress stays on your phone.

1. Data controller and contact

The publisher of the App is Snoochie Soft. For anything related to privacy, write to:

Because the App sends nothing to us, we do not hold any personal data about you.

2. What the App stores on your phone

To work, the App saves the following only on your device:

• your game results (scores, round times, how each round went) and the difficulty the App has adapted for you,
• badges, decorations and garden progress,
• your settings (theme, sound, haptics, reduced motion, color-blind mode, reminder time and similar choices),
• whether you own Full Unlock, and which locked games you have already tried once.

We cannot see this data. The App never sends it to us or to any third party.

3. What the App does not do

• It does not create accounts or ask for your name, email, phone number or location.
• It does not show ads and contains no advertising SDKs. It does not use the advertising ID.
• It does not use analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services.
• It does not access your contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or location.

4. Purchases

If you buy Full Unlock, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. Google tells the App whether the purchase exists, so the games stay unlocked.

Google acts as an independent provider for that transaction. Its privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy

5. Internet permission

The App declares the Android internet permission only because the Google Play Billing library (used for the Full Unlock purchase) requires it. The App does not send your game data anywhere.

6. Notifications

If you turn on the optional daily reminder, the App asks for notification permission and schedules a notification locally on your phone. Nothing is sent to a server. You can turn the reminder off in the App or in Android settings at any time.

7. Backups

Android may back up the App's saved progress and settings to your own Google account (Android Auto Backup) and restore them when you move to a new phone. This is controlled by your Android backup settings, and we have no access to those backups. You can turn it off in your phone's system settings.

8. Export

The App can export your data as a file. This happens only when you choose it. The file is handed to the Android share sheet and goes wherever you decide to send it.

9. Ratings

After a few rounds the App may ask whether you would like to rate it. This uses Google Play's in-app review feature, which is handled by Google Play.

10. Recipients and transfers

We do not pass your data to anyone, because we do not receive it. The only third party involved is Google (Google Play purchases, Android Auto Backup, in-app review). Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA, under the safeguards described in its own policy.

11. Retention and deleting your data

The data lives only on your phone, so you control it. In the App you can open Settings → Data → Reset progress to clear your rounds, badges, decorations and garden. You can also open Android Settings → Apps → Mossy → Storage → Clear storage, or simply uninstall the App. If you used Android backup, you can remove the backup in your Google account's backup settings.

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you have a question, write to SnoochieSoft@proton.me.

12. Your rights

If you are in the European Union or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, PUODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa). Because we do not collect or store your personal data, these rights are met by the controls described above. You can also write to us at any time.

13. Children

Mossy is made for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or under the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

14. Security

Your data stays on your device and is protected by your phone's own security (screen lock, device encryption). No method of storage is perfectly secure, so keep your phone updated.

15. Not medical advice

Mossy is a set of games for focus and relaxation. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
