This policy explains what the Android app Fake Chat Maker & Text Message ("the App") does with information. The App is published by Snoochie Soft. The short version: there is no account and no server of ours; your chats stay on your phone. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, described below.
Publisher: Snoochie Soft. Privacy questions: SnoochieSoft@proton.me.
We cannot see any of this. The App does not upload it to us.
The App has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts or precise location. It does not read your photo library: it only receives the single image you pick in Android's photo picker. It uses no analytics and no crash-reporting service of ours.
The free version shows banner and full-screen ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may process your advertising ID, device and app information (such as device model, OS version, IP address and approximate location derived from it), and ad interactions. Where required (EEA, UK), the App asks for your consent through Google's consent form, and you can change your choice in the App's settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings. See Google's advertising policy and privacy policy.
Buying Pro removes ads from the App.
The one-time Pro purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. Google tells the App whether the purchase exists.
When you save or share a chat image, it goes to your gallery or to the app you choose in Android's share sheet. The same applies to the optional chat backup file. What happens next is up to you and the receiving app. The free version adds a small "Made with Fake Chat Maker" watermark to images.
Android may back up the App's data to your own Google account (Android Auto Backup). This is controlled by your phone's settings and we have no access to it.
Delete a chat inside the App, or open Android Settings → Apps → Fake Chat Maker → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the App. We hold no data about you, so there is nothing to delete on our side.
If you are in the EU or UK you have rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint to a supervisory authority). Since we do not hold your data, these are met by the controls above; you can also write to us. For ad data, Google is an independent controller.
The App is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
The App is for entertainment. It is not affiliated with any messaging service. Do not use it to impersonate people, deceive, harass or commit fraud.
We may update this policy. The new version will appear at this address with a new date.
